HSFCon 2022 will take place at the Van der Valk Hotel in Sneek (NL) on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 May 2022. HSFCon is a convention for all fans of Horror, Science Fiction and Fantasy.

It will be a weekend filled with panels, talks and presentations about anything that these genres have to offer us, along with a good dollop of science. Feast your eyes and empty your purse at the dealers’ stands, join the workshops and spend some time with fellow fans.

The Van der Valk Hotel in Sneek offers comfortable, affordable hotel rooms, ample function rooms for a wide range of activities and of course a cosy bar for all your deep conversations with friends both old and new.

Join us after the first HSFCon day by watching the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 together.

The Eurovision song contest can be watched in the Bar / Brasserie of the hotel. This is open until 01.00 at the latest, provided there are still enough people.

Coins
Coin sales are available throughout the day at the hotel reception. The reception is open from 07:00 in the morning until 23:00 in the evening.

Drinks/packed lunches
Then a small change from our side with regard to the sale of coffee / tea, drinks and the collection of the packed lunches: this will all be from the bar in room 1. That way we have the sale of all products together nicely and it is clear to everyone. The payment of the drinks are with coins.

Coffee, tea, soft drinks and beer is: 1 coin
Wines: 1 1/2 munt
Packed lunch (if booked in advance): 4 coins

Dear HSFCon member,

Due to the large number of participants we expect at HSFCon, we recommend that you book your packed lunch and/or your dinner beforehand. You are not permitted to bring your own food and drink for use inside the hotel.

This is why we offer you this early opportunity to arrange your meals directly with the hotel. Payment is possible during the con itself by means of tokens that you can buy at the hotel reception. A packed lunch will cost 4 tokens and a hot meal will cost 7.5 tokens (the tokens can be broken in two). The packed lunch is a standard selection, but for your hot dinner we offer you a choice of meat,
fish or a vegetarian meal. You can make your choice on the day.
